John,

Have you heard? There’s history in the making.

One week from today on September 28th, transgender people and our allies from all over the country will gather here in Washington, D.C. for the first-ever Trans Visibility March. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to speak out with other community members and declare once and for all that we won’t be erased.

I’d like to extend a personal invitation for you and your loved ones to join the NCTE contingent at the march. For more information and to RSVP (it’s free!), please CLICK HERE and let us know you’re coming. We’ll be gathering at 10:30 AM at the corner of 14th St. NW and Pennsylvania Ave. NW, just a block away from Freedom Plaza.

In Solidarity,

Mara Keisling
