A doctor at Rhode Island Hospital was one of the first people in the region to receive the COVID-19 vaccine outside of clinical trials on Monday.
“I am filled with adrenaline and happiness,” Dr. Christian Arbelaez told reporters a few minutes later. “And I am thankful for what our scientists have done.”
