We have a pressing call to action that concerns tonight's Ventura City Council meeting. They are appointing a new mayor and deputy mayor, as well as adding the new members to the board. This call to action will be a rapid response email sending campaign - two letters, one sent to Erik Nasarenko and the other sent to all councilmembers.

Working with comrades from SURJ & BLM, we believe Lorrie Brown should occupy the Deputy Mayor position, while Sofia Rubaclava should occupy the seat of the Mayor.

Please send an email to all the city council members (email addresses are in the template) urging them to nominate Lorrie Brown for Deputy Mayor. Below is a template of the email crafted by a fellow comrade. When using this template, please make sure the erase the RED text in your final edit and insert your name in the signature.
