This is it, friend: Early voting for our runoff election starts today.

For the next three weeks – as Georgians begin casting their ballots – my opponent, unelected Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R), and Mitch McConnell are going to spend $100 million to buy this Senate seat and hold on to their extremist majority.

That's $100 million in nasty attack ads that try to paint me as an extremist –  all because I think health care is a human right. $100 million amplifying Donald Trump's attempts to undermine our democracy. $100 million to spread lies about me – because it's the only way the GOP thinks they can win.

But hear me out, friend: As we continue making our case to Georgians, we will not sink to the level of Kelly Loeffler, Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump. We're focusing on the issues that actually matter to the people of our state. It's how Joe Biden flipped Georgia blue, and it's how we'll win it again and take back the Senate. 

And after spending the last year talking to Georgians, I have a pretty good idea of the issues that matter: Health care matters to the families that are sick and suffering through this pandemic. The dignity of work matters to folks who've lost their jobs. The power of a vote matters to people who have to jump through hurdles just to cast a ballot. 

These are the challenges that Georgians are living – the challenges that maybe you yourself have fought through. God knows I have. It's why I'm running for Senate, and why I’ll fight for a better tomorrow for all of us.

That better tomorrow starts here. It starts with every vote we earn during early voting starting today and the runoff election on Jan. 5. It starts with this grassroots, people-powered movement going toe-to-toe with the corporate, special-interest machine backing Kelly Loeffler. It starts with you.
