Joe Biden has proposed a 100-day mask plan to contain the coronavirus pandemic -- even once a vaccine has been rolled out, and even Trump’s vaccine chief is on board.

According to the head of Operation Warp Speed, the federal program tasked with accelerating the development and distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine, “we all need to take our precaution, have our masks, wash our hands, and keep our distance, remain aware that this virus is a killer.”

Dr. Fauci agrees. After discussing the mask plan with Biden’s team, the trusted public health expert agreed that it would be a “good idea” to curb infection rates at a time when the COVID-19 death toll is spiking.

This simple measure could save hundreds of thousands of lives, but we all know that mask-wearing has been politicized to the point of absurdity. We consider wearing a mask the least we can do to keep each other safe, but today, we need to know if Biden’s plan will receive the public support it needs to be successful.
