If you have tested positive for coronavirus, you are still eligible for coverage. And plans can't end your coverage because of a change in your health, including getting tested or treated for COVID-19.
Most people qualify for financial help. When you apply for insurance, the form will ask you to enter your income and the number of people in your household. It will tell you your estimated savings based off of that information. 87% of people who use the HealthCare.gov platform qualify for financial help, and the average premium is only $65/month.
You can sign up for a plan under the Affordable Care Act by going to healthcare.gov before December 15.
