Hello,

POLITICO: The World Health Organization and GAVI, the Vaccine Alliance, have “created COVAX, a voluntary multilateral effort to ensure equitable access to the vaccine around the world; 184 countries are now committed or eligible to obtain vaccines from COVAX. COVAX member countries get access to purchase vaccines from a portfolio of potential candidates and access to globally sourced supplies. The idea is to ensure it will be accessible to rich and poor countries alike.”

Wondering why you might not have heard of COVAX yet? Maybe it’s because Donald Trump attacked and then withdrew from the WHO, just as the pandemic was beginning to overtake the nation.

Fortunately, with Biden and Harris set to move into the White House this January, we can finally trust that our leaders will prioritize the health of the American people over their personal interests, as they should’ve been doing this whole time.

“The pandemic has set off a wave of ‘me first’ health care nationalism,” POLITICO notes, which Trump wholeheartedly supported at the cost of American lives. Now, we have the opportunity to urge Biden and Harris to support the health of the global community while also protecting the domestic front. Jim Robinson, a key player in the global pursuit for a vaccine, has put it like this: “Until we’re all protected, none of us are protected.” Do you agree? Tell us now:

Do you support rejoining the WHO?

YES   NO

Thank you for providing your critical input,
