currently hanging onto a narrow12 vote lead against Democrat Anthony Brindisi
in the race for New York’s 22nd District.
 

Election Day was over five weeks ago (can you believe it?!) and we’ve been
fighting every single day since then to make sure that every LEGAL vote counts
so that the people of Upstate New York receive the free and fair election that
they deserve.
 

But now that this race is heading into a partial recount, our lead is far from
secure and we need to do everything it takes to defend it.
 

Hundreds of ballots will be under close review over the coming weeks –– more
than enough to change the outcome of this crucial election.
 

That’s why I went on Fox News to talk about how important it is that we dig
our heels in and don’t give up the fight until this race is officially over.

Friend, we’re fighting for the future of Upstate New York so that our
conservative values are heard loud and clear in Washington –– but the outcome
of this race will affect conservatives all over the country, not just those in
my home district.
 

That’s because by flipping this seat from blue to red Republicans everywhere
will have a stronger chance at stopping Nancy Pelosi’s liberal wish list for
2021 and beyond.
 

And on top of that, the growing “Freedom Squad” will be one conservative voice
stronger and AOC will have one more problem on her hands.
 

Conservatives everywhere will be one step closer to stopping the Green New
Deal, stopping the “defund the police” movement, and stopping the Left’s
socialist takeover of our healthcare system, and that’s a step in the right
direction for America.
 
We can’t afford to pass up that opportunity –– and it all starts with
defending our razor-thin lead and delivering one final conservative victory in
2020.
