"Of the increase of his government and his peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this."

- Isaiah 9:7

Africa
- Praise God for eight children (six boys and two girls) who graduated last month from an eight-month trauma therapy program in Ghana. All eight children were rescued out of forced labor trafficking in the fishing industry in May 2018, and exhibited signs of significant trauma in their behavior and emotions. After completing the program, social workers have seen that they are stronger and better able to process the abuse that happened in their past. Praise God for the rescue and continued healing of these children.
Latin America
- Please pray for continued health and effective collaboration between IJM Guatemala and our grassroot partners, as we continue serving children survivors of sexual violence and their families. Pray for emotional, psychological, physical and spiritual strength as we relentlessly work together to best serve the most vulnerable, making sure that justice for them is unstoppable.
South Asia

76 men and boys who were recently rescued from slavery at jewelry factories. Many were young teens, and one boy was just 10 years old. Most of these laborers had been trafficked from across the country and were forced to work non-stop making gold jewelry in horrible conditions. IJM worked with the government to rescue them from seven factories, and when the boys heard the news they'd be going home, they danced, excitedly packed their belongings and hugged IJM's staff with joy! Please pray for the process of helping these survivors return safely home, their reintegration with their families and ongoing police follow-up on the traffickers who abused them.

Southeast Asia
- Please pray for our clients' safety during this rainy season in Cambodia. Many provinces are experiencing flooding, and survivors we work with in Kratie, Kandal and Sihanoukville provinces are affected by these floods. Please pray for health and safety for these communities, and for the flooding to recede.

Freedom Sunday tomorrow! Pray for the pastors, volunteers and IJM staff around the world who are preparing to share about God's heart for justice and invite their congregants into the fight. Ask God to move mightily in the hearts of His people, raising up a movement within His Church to seek justice and stand up for people in oppression.
