John,

While you're not yet a member of The Trust for Public Land,
you ought to be, because I think you understand that creating parks
and protecting public lands doesn't happen overnight.

Months or even years before land can be protected to preserve
wildlife habitat, farmland, drinking water supplies, parks, and
natural areas, The Trust for Public Land collaborates with local
stakeholders and partners to ensure that all the community needs are
met.

With your ongoing support, The Trust for Public Land excels in
engaging stakeholders and completing complex land transactions that
create parks and protect natural areas. That's why we urge you
to come to the table with us for public lands one more time this year
by making a special year-end gift to join us a member of The Trust for
Public Land before 2020 comes to an end.

Thanks to your support, we've had great success working
together so far. This year, The Trust for Public Land protected over
94,000 acres of public land ... created 23 parks ... and
improved access to trails in 22 communities. As a sign of confidence
in the commitment of our members, a generous supporter will double
your tax-deductible gift today.

Your year-end gift of $25 will be matched to become $50. Give $35 and your gift will double to $70. Give $50 and your gift will have twice the impact, growing to $100.

Creating parks and protecting public land for people is a common
commitment that unites us. I know you care about it deeply. Now I need
you to show it by making a tax-deductible year-end gift that will be
doubled to advance the critical work of The Trust for Public Land in
the weeks, months, and years to come.
