Hi John,
Today is the People's Vaccine Global Day of Action. People from around the world are calling on pharmaceutical companies Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca to share their vaccines with the world, using all their communications channels: email, social media and phone.
Join the action and demand a #PeoplesVaccines for everyone, everywhere.

Why we're taking action
While the UK and other rich countries are starting to roll out mass vaccination programmes and have bought up enough doses to vaccinate their population nearly three times, new research shows that 9 out of 10 people in poor countries could miss out on a Covid-19 vaccine for years to come.
This is because pharmaceutical companies retain exclusive rights on their Covid-19 vaccines and treatments and keep their technology secret to boost profits. This is limiting production and standing in the way of ending the pandemic for everyone, everywhere.
What we're calling for
We're asking pharmaceutical companies to share their vaccine know-how with other manufacturers, by joining the World Health Organisation’s Covid-19 Technology Access Pool (C-TAP).
This initiative will help facilitate knowledge and patent sharing and expand vaccine production so there are enough doses for everyone, not just rich countries. So far the companies have refused to join and so we are calling a day of action to make our voices heard.
How to take part
Whether you only have a minute to send an email or a tweet, or more time to phone up the companies, your help is crucial to make today's action a success and make our voices heard.
