John, tomorrow is a really, really difficult day for me.

Every single morning, I have to reacquaint myself with the horrible reality that my sweet little Daniel was murdered, and he's never coming back. The heartache is constant. But Dec. 14 – when we mark the day Daniel was killed – is always especially painful to get through.

I'm taking tomorrow off to spend time with my family and honor Daniel's beautiful memory, but before I do, I have one final request:
