John -- Congress is an exclusive club for the wealthy elite and it’s going to take more than a handful of progressive wins to fix it.

Reports show that in the 116th Congress, more than HALF of the members are millionaires, with median income of Congressional members estimated to be around $1 million. Despite our movement's best efforts and with a historic amount of progressive wins in 2020, the 117th Congress doesn’t look much different.

The majority of everyday Americans don’t trust Congress and feel that Congressional representatives, regardless of political party, are out of touch. This is true. How can Congress legislate in a way that actually benefits regular-working people if its members haven’t lived the experience of struggling to cover essentials such as housing, food, education and healthcare?

Brand New Congress is fighting to change this. For 2022, we are aiming to elect the LARGEST coalition of progressive activists and regular-working people in our organization’s history.

BNC representative Rashida Tlaib said it best, “We have to be a nation of compassion and some sort of humanity when it comes to the treatment of other human beings.”

If we want leaders who are willing to create sweeping systemic change, ones who will legislate in a way that benefits ALL of us -- not just the ultra-wealthy and large corporations -- then we must work hard to get them elected.

Brand New Congress is ready to take on this fight for 2022 and we need you with us.

Contribute $2 today and help us do the hard work of taking on the Washington establishment. Every dollar we raise goes directly to preparing our 2022 candidate slate to run winning campaigns.

Forward 2022,
