“President-elect Joe Biden is considering a high-profile ambassadorship for Pete Buttigieg, possibly sending him to China, people familiar with the matter tell Axios.”
Buttigieg has been a stalwart champion for Biden on the campaign trail, stumping for the president-elect at rallies and even going onto Fox News to spar with Republicans on their own turf. As POLITICO reports, these efforts now mean that “Buttigieg has some chips to cash in with Biden.”
