Hey John - it’s Eric.
The holiday season is in full swing here in Indiana, and I wanted to take a minute and chat with you about the Hoosier holiday spirit.
Hoosiers are the most charitable people I know — they never hesitate to lend a helping hand to a friend in need, do a favor for a neighbor, or step up to support those less fortunate than them.
This year, that charitable Hoosier spirit has been on full display.
Whether it’s supporting your local businesses, donating canned food to the hungry, or going out and getting groceries for at-risk neighbors and family members, I have seen Hoosiers like you answer the call time and time again in 2020.
It makes me incredibly proud to be the governor of our state, with people who care about each other like you do — especially in a year like this one.
John, the holiday season is all about helping those in need, and in 2020, there are more people in need than usual.
I’d like to ask one thing before you exit this email — will you consider donating to one of the food banks below and helping Hoosiers in need during the holiday season? Thank you, and God bless you. I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season.
Regards, Governor Eric Holcomb
