Last year, Olivia*, a single mom, was struggling to keep up with her work and the medical appointments for her four children. She was facing financial hardship and feeling emotionally drained. Because of your generosity, we were able to provide Olivia with a $25 gift card for each of her children and she bought a special holiday gift for each one--something she would not have been able to do on her own. Our staff shared that Olivia was deeply moved by this show of support for her family. Knowing that people cared and were looking out for her family brought joy to their holidays.
