It's a new day in the Middle East. But there is work left for us to do.

Dear John,

Having a vision isn’t always easy.

At AJC, we have long imagined a world in which Israel is at peace with her neighbors and is treated fairly in the community of nations.

While substantial progress has been made, there were times when these goals felt far off.

We never doubted the validity of our vision. But there were moments of outrage. There were setbacks. There was frustration.

But this year, there were victories, including new peace agreements in quick succession and substantial blows to Israel’s enemies. And AJC played a critical role in securing these wins for the Jewish state.

Your support of AJC will ensure that there will be more happy days in Israel’s future. And if you give now, every dollar will be matched.

For over a quarter-century, AJC has engaged with leaders throughout the Arab and Muslim world, working quietly and diligently to advocate for Israel. We made the case that relations with Israel would not only be mutually beneficial, but that recognizing Israel would lead to greater regional stability and security.

And this year, three of the nations with which we have worked most closely – the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Morocco – embraced relations with the Jewish state.

Recently, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recognized AJC’s unique role in this effort, saying, “You offered delicate assistance to Israel with various Arab and Muslim countries before it was fashionable.... helping to open doors when others could not.”

With your generosity, we can make new friends for Israel, even when the odds seem long. It’s up to us to forge a new path in the Middle East.

And while Israel is gaining new allies, there are still those who wish to do her harm.

Hezbollah, the Iranian terror proxy that has over 100,000 rockets pointed at Israel, is committed to the destruction of the Jewish state.

That’s why AJC has been on a decades-long mission to put Hezbollah out of business.

And this year, a major victory: Germany, the most powerful country in the EU, banned all Hezbollah activities on its soil. It was a major blow to the terrorist group.

Nine other countries also banned the group in 2020, making clear that there is a steep price to pay for threatening Israeli and Jewish lives.

We must continue to fight for Israel’s future. Support AJC today and your gift and your impact will be doubled.

It’s up to us to believe in and work toward a bright, bold, safe future for Israel. Will you join us?
