How will you chip in?

[[link removed]]John,

I don’t know about you, but I never want to see another river like this ever again.

So, what can we do about it?

American Rivers holds National River Cleanup® events every weekend across the
country. But even if you can’t make it out to a river this World Cleanup Day, we
hope you will consider helping us restore rivers

No one cleans a river quite like we do. Since 1991, more than 1.3 million volunteers have covered more than 252,694 miles of rivers and streams and removed more
than 25 million pounds of litter and debris.

Let me say that again: that’s 25 million pounds of garbage kept out of our rivers and oceans by our generous volunteers and
supporters.

On top of that, 2018 WAS A GREAT YEAR: Over 57,228 volunteers removed 2 million pounds of trash from nearly 3,166
cleanup sites. So, will you support the movement?

We can’t do it without you,

P.S. The next time you see an article about the damage plastics do to our
environment, especially with pictures like the one above, we want you to know you did something about it.
