"The blizzard of political attack ads threatens to blot out cheery Christmas promotions through the holiday season in a state just beginning to come to grips with its new status as a battleground."

NBC isn't pulling any punches with the imagery in their reporting -- but they're not exaggerating the volume of GOP ads flooding the airwaves in Georgia this month.

As NBC reports: "On the Democratic side, the Senate Majority PAC has created two spinoffs to run ads against Loeffler and Perdue, including spots that seek to portray them as creatures of the Washington swamp, perhaps in an attempt to discourage turnout from supporters of President Donald Trump, who have been feuding with state GOP leaders for certifying President-elect Joe Biden's victory in the state."

We'd say that's pretty fair.

But on the other hand:

"On the Republican side, GOP operative Karl Rove and the Senate Leadership Fund have pledged to spend tens of millions of dollars, including on ads that may be aimed at depressing turnout from moderate suburban voters who backed Biden but may not be completely comfortable with putting Democrats in charge of everything ... Voters are not thrilled."

That's right. The GOP knows they're running two Trump allies in a state (and country) where Trump just lost. So they're now pumping MILLIONS into suppressing turnout -- which just might work. We know voters care less about Senate races than Presidential races, and we know the GOP often wins in low-turnout elections.

But we also know there's nothing you want less than to turn control of the Senate back over to Mitch McConnell.

Which is why we're asking you NOW: Can you please give what you can as a show of support for Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock? Can you chip in what you can afford -- and we know times are tough -- to signal that Democrats should NOT stay home, that we should vote and win this election too, and that President-elect Biden deserves a blue Senate to govern alongside him? >> [link removed]
