I’m going to be honest with you, when it comes to tackling climate change, we are out of time.

The DSA campaigns all over the country today aim to help build a launching pad for a broad movement for the decade of the Green New Deal. We are fighting for full decarbonization by 2030 with green union jobs for all, not deals with Mitch McConnell that doom our futures.

Join Us in Demanding that Lizzie Fletcher to Fight for Our Lives, Not Corporate Greed and Profit.

Today we ask you to send our list of demands to Lizzie Fletcher. She is a local Democratic representative (TX-07), and consistently votes with Republicans on energy policy, and in the 2020 election cycle she accepted more money from oil and gas companies than any congressional Democrat, with PAC donations in the same league as prominent Republican senators like Mitch McConnell and John Cornyn.

Especially if you are one of Fletcher's constituents in TX-07, please join us in sending Fletcher our demands.

As Fletcher rakes in cash from her relationships with big energy executives, she sits on Congress’ Oil and Gas Caucus and co-chairs the Natural Gas Caucus, giving her outsized power in shaping the federal government’s response to the havoc these companies wreak.

We demand Immediate COVID-19 Crisis Relief, A Green Stimulus (incl. Public Power), A Green Job Guarantee, The Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act, The Healthcare Emergency Guarantee Act.
