Friend --
We want to make sure you saw the senator's last email because we need people like you to stand up for our climate.
Donald Trump is trying to open the coastal plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge for drilling, and we can't allow oil and gas corporations to drill and destroy this vital ecosystem. It's an affront to all we've worked for -- will you add your name to condemn the Trump administration's efforts to sell off the Arctic Refuge to the highest bidder?
Thank you for stepping up.

🚨 The Trump administration officially published a notice of sale for drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. 🚨
Friend -- that means, starting January 6, oil and gas corporations will be able to lease federally owned land in one of America's last great wildernesses, putting a million-year-old ecosystem in peril.
We have less than a month to stop it: Sign on to condemn the Trump administration's efforts to open the Arctic Refuge coastal plain to dirty polluters!
Selling drilling rights in the Arctic Refuge has been a goal of Republicans for years. Drilling here would be disastrous for this fragile ecosystem and the climate -- and now, we have less than a month to stop it.
Time and time again, we've raised our voices to defend the Arctic Refuge from destruction, and powerful interests are hearing us. Just last week, in response to public pressure, Bank of America joined every other major U.S. bank in announcing that it would not finance oil and gas projects in the Arctic Refuge.
We can't let up now. If you oppose leasing one of America's last wild places to the highest bidder, add your name next to mine today.
Thank you,
Maria Cantwell
