John,
Today marks five years since the Paris Climate Agreement was adopted as an effort to slow global warming and the effects of climate change.
Since then, Donald Trump has withdrawn our country from the accord -- recklessly putting our children, our health, and our planet at risk.
And while this president took a step back, climate change did not. In fact, in the past 5 years, the climate crisis has worsened before our eyes.
We've watched hurricanes and fires ravage our country. We've seen species die and glaciers melt. We've felt temperatures rise across the globe -- and unless we take action right now, this will only get worse.
That's why it's more imperative than ever that we rejoin the Paris Climate Agreement -- and support President-elect Joe Biden taking action on his first day in office. Join us and add your name in support of rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement right now.

While climate change is a global issue -- and why 187 countries have joined the Paris Climate Accord -- we see the effects up close and personal here in Washington.
Our forests are burning, our sea levels are rising, and our waters are becoming more acidic. There is no denying that climate change is not only real, but also a very real threat to our way of life in Washington, in the United States, and across the world.
Science should not be a partisan issue -- and protecting our planet should not be a political bargaining chip.
There's too much on the line for us to not do our part. Sign the petition right now and ask President-elect Joe Biden to rejoin the Paris Climate Agreement on day one. >> [link removed]
