Today marks five years since the Paris Climate Agreement was adopted as an effort to slow global warming and the effects of climate change.

Since then, Donald Trump has withdrawn our country from the accord -- recklessly putting our children, our health, and our planet at risk.

And while this president took a step back, climate change did not. In fact, in the past 5 years, the climate crisis has worsened before our eyes.

We've watched hurricanes and fires ravage our country. We've seen species die and glaciers melt. We've felt temperatures rise across the globe -- and unless we take action right now, this will only get worse.
