WARNOCK KICKS OFF HANUKKAH BY CAMPAIGNING WITH ANTI-SEMITIC EXTREMIST GROUP
ATLANTA – This Sunday, the Georgia branch of the extreme Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) will hold a virtual "vote-a-thon" to encourage voting for Raphael Warnock. Warnock has previous ties to CAIR, including hosting the organization at outreach events at Ebenezer Baptist.
CAIR and its leaders have a well-documented history of taking anti-Semitic, anti-Israel positions, including backing the boycott-divestment-sanctions (BDS) movement, accusing American Jews of using the Holocaust to deflect criticism of Israel, and even amplifying the voices of notorious anti-Semites such as Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib – both of whom are participating in CAIR's campaign event tomorrow night for Warnock.
But that's not all. The FBI concluded CAIR has supported Hamas and Hezbollah – which is likely why they refuse to condemn these known terrorist groups. Last year, CAIR's executive director stated the group combats "racism, Islamophobia, and Zionism," conflating outright bigotry with simply believing that the Jewish State should exist. That same executive director previously worked with groups created and designed by the Muslim Brotherhood – another terrorist organization –
to support Hamas financially and politically.
It's no surprise to see such a radical fringe group support Raphael Warnock. On Israel, CAIR and Warnock's beliefs align perfectly. Warnock has been repeatedly exposed for his anti-Israel positions, including:
-
Accusing Israel of "shooting down unarmed" Palestinians "like birds of prey
-
Celebrating anti-Semite Jeremiah Wright, even calling him a prophet
-
Calling for an end to all U.S. military aid to Israel
-
Comparing Israel to apartheid South Africa
-
Comparing Benjamin Netanyahu to George Wallace and accusing him of using "racist and vicious language"
Raphael Warnock's anti-Israel bias, along with his clear ties to such an extreme, anti-Semitic group, should be completely disqualifying with the Jewish community, and on January 5th, they will soundly reject him.
