Dear Friends,

I'll be hosting a Zoom Town Hall meeting on legislation proposed for the 2021 NH legislative session on Monday, December 14th at 7 pm. Issues likely to be discussed include: school funding, healthcare, election law, state budget, and judicial affairs. We began hosting monthly town hall sessions last June. Since 2017 I’ve made it a point to visit all 15 towns in Senate District 10 at least once a year, usually at Select Board meetings, more recently via Zoom.

No need to register. You’ll find the link at the Cheshire Co. Democrats Facebook site.

Next Sunday, Dec. 20, at 10 am, Rep. David Luneau and I will be the guests on WMUR Close Up show, discussing with Adam Sexton the Commission on School Funding recommendations.

It’s still a busy month as I’ve started up two Commissions: one on Telehealth and another on Holocaust and Genocide Education implementation. My committee assignment for the year are Education and Judiciary, the later will be a new experience.

Stay safe, be well and find a new way to celebrate the holiday season. Thank you for all you do and your support.

Jay
