Dear John,
We will always remember 2020, but now it is time to look ahead.
My December days are full of planning with other feminist leaders for the coming year. As we leave 2020, we are turning the page with more women in highly visible leadership positions than ever before.You can help the Ms. Foundation to lead the way by making sure that women of color grassroots leaders have the money and other resources they will need to take us all forward in 2021 and beyond.
One lesson I have leaned on this year is space, pace, and grace. Give yourself the space you need, set a pace that works for you and, with grace, accept changes along the way.
The Ms. Foundation always plays to win but I need to be frank with you. We did not hit our online fundraising goal of $100,000 in November. We need a little more space to get this done. That’s why I asked my team to push one more time on our important “When Women Win” campaign. My deepest gratitude to those of you who gave in November. And, yes, I am asking again. Will you make sure that women keep winning in the year ahead by making one last 2020 gift before December 31st to the “When Women Win” campaign?
I have so much hope for all that lies ahead because I step forward with thousands of incredible women leaders. Stand with me and the Ms. Foundation today and let’s make sure that women and girls win BIG in 2021!
