As a child of parents who came of age in the 60s and 70s, I grew up very familiar with the movement mantra, “Power to the People.”
Today, as we mark the 5th anniversary of the historic Paris climate agreement, that mantra resonates more than ever as a rallying cry for action on the most serious environmental threat we’ve ever faced.
That’s because in order to realize the ambitious targets of the Paris agreement, we’re going to need caring, dedicated people like you speak out and demand that our leaders seize this moment to slash pollution and turbocharge our transition to a cleaner, safer, healthier future.
You can help drive momentum by signing onto our Power Up, America! People’s Climate Petition.

We launched this petition drive just four days ago and already have more than 10,000 signatures against our goal of 100,000 by Inauguration Day next month. This is all about people power and we need you with us.
Please sign our People’s Climate Petition today — and we’ll make sure your voice is heard in Congress and with the Biden-Harris administration.

The incoming administration has promised to recommit the U.S. to the Paris agreement. That’s an important first step toward undoing the reckless policies of the last four years.
But to meet the commitments we’ve made under the Paris agreement, we need real, tangible action out of Washington.
Fortunately, we have clear, win-win solutions that Congress and the administration can pass to get the American economy back on track, create millions of jobs and get America back in the game when it comes to climate leadership.
Our Power Up, America! Campaign is focused on two key goals: clean transportation and clean energy.
Why focus on these two sectors? Because transportation and energy are our two largest sources of climate pollution. And they also represent the biggest opportunities to make progress while creating millions of jobs.
This opportunity is too important to miss. So in the spirit of the global people’s movement for climate action and with a nod toward the essential goals of the Paris agreement, I need your help.
Please sign onto our Power Up, America! People’s Climate Petition today!
