Mark your calendars! On Thursday, December 17, we are throwing a virtual text banking party starting at 5:00 pm (EST) to help turn out the vote in Georgia for the upcoming runoff election! Join us to help Georgians create a plan to vote for Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock!
This pandemic has caused hardships in all aspects of our lives. COVID-19 has disrupted traditional voter canvassing, making remote techniques like texting more important than ever! People For’s Georgia Texting Campaign will utilize peer-to-peer texting to reach out to Georgians to help them determine their nearest polling station and to provide information on early voting to support Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock.
Helping Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff win the Georgia runoff election will not only be important for Georgians, but for all Americans. While coronavirus-related deaths and cases continue to increase, it is on us to ensure that we elect public officials like Warnock and Ossoff who will vote in the U.S. Senate to provide much-needed relief. We must do all we can to increase voter turnout in this election so that we can FLIP the Senate and end Mitch McConnell’s obstruction of COVID relief!
Now is our best chance to take Mitch McConnell’s power away from him and put it back in the hands of the People.
Let’s get to work.
