The future of our nation is on the line in Georgia and every single vote matters as Georgia draws closer to the January 5th runoff election.

That’s why Heritage Action has hundreds of Conservative activists on the ground in Georgia getting out the vote.

It is up to Conservatives to prevent the Left’s socialist agenda from taking hold in America. The Left won’t stop in Georgia. They’ll pack the Supreme Court, pass the radical Green New Deal, increase taxes, and defund our nation’s police departments.

We can’t let that happen, that’s why we’re making 1,000,000 phone calls, sending 500,000 texts, and knocking on 500,000 doors to mobilize Georgians to vote for their Conservative values.

In fact, this past week the whole Heritage Action team and over 50 Heritage Action Sentinels traveled to Georgia to knock on doors and talk to voters about their Conservative values.

We were also able to take part in the Save America Bus Tour in Gainesville, Georgia on Friday encouraging Georgians to get out and vote for their Conservative values. Jessica Anderson was featured as one of the main speakers!

Happening on the Hill
COVID-19 “Relief” Bill:
Congress is currently debating a COVID-19 relief bill that has some seriously troubling components <[link removed]>. Heritage Action has said since the beginning of the pandemic that state and local bailouts are a red line for conservatives <[link removed]>, and yet, the bill contains bailouts for both. The legislation also contains $180 billion in additional funding for the harmful $300 per week supplemental unemployment
insurance <[link removed]> — Congress should be getting the country back to work, not incentivizing further job losses. Heritage Action stands firm: Any additional relief should focus on the specific health impacts of COVID-19, small business relief, and getting the nation back to work.

Omnibus Spending Bill:
Congress is also currently debating an omnibus spending bill. Conservatives should have major concerns with the bill. Just this year, Congress has authorized $2.4 trillion in deficit spending on top of the $1 trillion shortfalls predicted before the pandemic. Legislators are trying to jam through a multi-trillion-dollar spending bill just before the holidays to raise spending and hide their unpopular policy priorities in a spending bill. Appropriators should be looking for ways to reduce spending rather than coming up with new, ineffective ways to spend taxpayer dollars. In addition, they must reject unrelated legislative riders and new policies.
