Letter from an Editor | December 12, 2020
Dear John,
This is certainly a holiday season unlike any other. So many of us are avoiding travel whenever possible and will be far from our friends and family this year, for perhaps the first time in a long while. The last thing on many people’s minds, my own included, is shopping for traditional gifts this year. That’s why I want to encourage you to consider giving a gift membership to Ms.

Just like public radio, we depend on our supporters and members to keep Ms. strong—and this has been a particularly difficult year for non-profits like Ms . By gifting a membership this holiday season, you will help ensure that Ms . is stronger than ever as we pursue our ambitious reporting plans in 2021.
For a limited time only, we have discounted our one-year membership to the special holiday price of just $20 [[link removed]] . Plus: when you give the gift of Ms . this season, we'll email you a digital greeting card that you can use to announce this new membership—no trips to the mall or post office needed.
Our team here at Ms . asks that you consider helping us spread the message of peace, equality, hope and change this year by sharing Ms . with your family, friends and loved ones this holiday season. It’s only with the support of dedicated supporters – like you – that we can remain fiercely independent and on the frontlines as we head into 2021—and beyond.
For equality,
Kathy Spillar
