This is a category 5 alert! As you may have already seen, Joe Biden, the man who could very likely be our next President, has stated he intends to put Xavier Becerra in charge of Health and Human Services.



As California’s Attorney General for the past 3 years, Becerra has been the focus of many of our lawsuits and the lawyers under his command have fought tooth and nail to keep every garbage gun control law, no matter how pointless and irrational. 



That’s why we’re worried about what the future holds. Many have said it signals a hard line that the Biden administration would take on gun control, with the possibility of new restrictions on online sales, purchase limits, maybe even a California-style “assault weapons” ban on a federal level. 



We’re doing everything we can here at CGF to deter and discourage a disaster like that from happening. That’s why we’re working hard on Miller v. Becerra, a very important case!

If we can prove that the AWB here in CA doesn’t stand up to legal scrutiny, it sets a good precedent that the same law on a national level would also fail to pass muster. 



That’s why it’s SO IMPORTANT that we continue fighting in this critical case and that we continue funding our legal team until January when we take this case to court.



Our legal team is confident that we have a strong case. And with Judge Robert T. Benitez presiding, we believe we will get a fair trial, which has only rarely happened in California before.
