2020 was a landmark year for the Working Families Party:
- We helped elect new WFP champions like Jamaal Bowman and Mondaire Jones to Congress to fight for the relief that Americans so desperately need,
- We made sure that leaders like Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib had the resources and grassroots power they needed to fend off corporate-backed primary challengers,
- We defeated corporate Democrats and elected a new generation of progressive leaders at every level of office and in every corner of the country — from Rhode Island to Texas to Pennsylvania to New Mexico to Florida to Delaware and more,
- We reached millions of voters in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia, Arizona, Texas, and other states to build the winning coalition that ultimately made the difference in the presidential election AND won a record-breaking 386,010 votes for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in New York state — showing the entire country the power of our movement,
- And now, we're throwing the strength of this grassroots, people-powered movement to elect Raphael Warnock in Georgia so we can win this runoff election and flip the Senate.
Together, we're building a political party accountable to working people, not corporate donors. But the truth is we need to grow even bigger if we want to rise to the challenges we are going to face in 2021 and beyond.
