Tomorrow is the fifth anniversary of the historic Paris Climate Agreement. Many nations have taken bold action since then to combat climate change. But in that same time, the Trump administration did unthinkable damage: rolling back over 60 environmental rules and regulations and taking the U.S. out of the Paris Climate Agreement.
We'll all breathe a sigh of relief the minute President-elect Joe Biden recommits our country to the pledges we made with 187 other countries. But that should only be the first step.
Here's the thing, friend: the U.S. is the world's second-largest greenhouse gases emitter. We have an obligation to get our nation back on track in the fight against climate change before it's too late.
