Have you used your Political Tax Credit yet this year? Eligible Oregonians can give $50 or $100 to OLCV PAC and get it back when they file their taxes! Click here to donate: [[link removed]]

Dear John,

The 2020 election was unlike any other, in a year unlike any other. Despite being in the middle of a pandemic, record numbers of Oregonians voted in both the May primary and November general elections. We had to rely on different and new ways of reaching voters to get out the vote. But despite all of the challenges, we had some big wins for Oregon’s people, places, and environment.

$350,000 INVESTED
OLCV PAC made a significant investment in the competitive race for Secretary of State, helping elect a climate champion to one of our state’s most important offices. We also made significant investments in key legislative races to hold Senate Republicans accountable and protect our climate champions in the House.

OVER 300 STAFF AND VOLUNTEER SHIFTS
The “get out the vote” effort looked different this year. Instead of knocking on doors, OLCV volunteers and staff spent many hours phone banking, writing postcards, and participating in virtual events in order to safely mobilize voters during the pandemic.

2.4 MILLION VOTES CAST
Despite being in the middle of a pandemic, Oregonians voted in record numbers in the 2020 election. This is a testament to Oregon’s strong vote-by-mail system and decades of efforts to increase voter access in our state.
