I was on the Devil's Advocates radio show the other day talking about how there's a way to do an end run around partisan gridlock in Wisconsin's divided government to get progressive initiatives advanced. It can be done, but will take considerable nerve.

This is one of the things we'll be discussing at Our Wisconsin Revolution's next statewide Zoom meeting Tuesday evening. We'll also have Wisconsin Farmers Union organizer and Dunn County Democratic Party chair Bill Hogseth joining us to provide a glimpse into conditions in his neck of the woods and discuss ideas in a recent commentary he wrote on "Why Democrats Keep Losing Rural Counties Like Mine."

Next Tuesday's meeting also will feature a conversation with a small business owner in La Crosse and a state leader of the Main Street Alliance to further explore what works and wins in small town Wisconsin.
