John,
We can fix most of the damage Donald Trump has done to our Social Security system―especially the new regulations that he’s putting in place on his way out of the White House.
But here’s why the Trump administration is smashing Social Security on their way out the door: Democrats have an affirmative agenda to make Social Security work even better, but we can’t enact it if we spend the entire Biden administration forced to clean up Trump’s messes.
This cynical ruination of our cherished institutions is exactly why people become skeptical about the power of government to actually help people.
Social Security Works won’t be satisfied by a simple return to the status quo―we’re fighting to restore AND improve our Social Security system! If you’re invested in this fight, chip in $7 today!

John,
I, for one, am tired of Donald Trump’s Social Security Administration’s attempts to gut our Social Security system before Joe Biden can be sworn in. Look at this headline from The Hill:
Fortunately, this change is something the Biden administration can undo―but what’s clear is that the current leadership of SSA all need to go on Day 1.
Social Security Works has organized a petition with more than 220,000 signatures calling for Biden to uproot the Social Security saboteurs Trump has embedded at SSA, and reverse their dangerous, anti-Social Security regulations. Even with Trump’s loss, we still have to save Social Security from him!
Chip in $7 to save Social Security from Donald Trump, and make sure Joe Biden appoints people to the Social Security Administration who truly want to serve the American people!
These midnight regulations are just another mess that the Trump administration is leaving for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to clean up. Between the pandemic, the economic catastrophe, and multiple crises, foreign and domestic, that Trump has ginned up in recent weeks, it will be difficult to keep attention on this important fight. Social Security Works isn’t going anywhere. And your support is more critical than ever. Chip in today!
Thanks,
