John,
Women in America have helped shape this country into what it is today. In every field from government to STEM to art to education and more, women have excelled, and it’s about time that they were recognized and honored for these achievements.
For too long, women’s stories have been overshadowed, which is why I introduced H.R. 1980 The Smithsonian Women’s History Museum Act — to finally fund a museum dedicated to the remarkable achievements of American Women.
We must ensure that women get their rightful place in American history. Sign your name right away to show your support of passing The Smithsonian Women's History Museum Act now >>

This bill has already passed the House with strong bipartisan support, including dozens of co-sponsors. And just a couple of weeks ago, the bill got its first Senate hearing.
But if we're going to make sure that this bill gets passed before the end of this Congress, we need Mitch McConnell to bring it to the Senate floor for a vote. If not, it means that we'll have to start the entire legislative process over again next year — meaning new hearings, new votes, and re-gathering co-sponsors.
The women of this country have broken barriers and made bold changes, and the young girls should be able to look to them and know that they can do the same. So let's pass this bill now to empower them.
This cannot wait. Help show strong public support of this bill and tell Mitch McConnell to bring The Smithsonian Women's History Museum Act to the floor immediately. Add your name now >>
