Instead of trying to deliver a better product than their market competitors, Facebook decided to just swallow up competition like Instagram.

This market dominance is an illegal monopoly, and it has unleashed Facebook’s ability to wield abusive power over their industry.

That’s why I’m very grateful for New York Attorney General Letitia James and the Federal Trade Commission’s decision to file Antitrust lawsuits against Facebook.

Monopolistic power is cancerous to our economic competitiveness and must be stomped out before it grows into something beyond control.
