Friend,

There is major momentum building to pass a minimum wage increase, even in states like Florida, which voted on Election Day to become the ninth state to pass a $15 minimum wage, through a ballot initiative.

Take a look at the interactive map below to see what the minimum wage is in your state and how it compares to the rest of the country.

Together, we are working with activists, as well as allies in Congress and in state legislatures, to raise the minimum wage.

The Raise the Wage Act, which was supported by EPI research, passed the U.S. House of Representatives 231-199 in July 2019. This legislation, which is expected to be reintroduced in 2021, would establish a $15 minimum wage within 6 years and do away with the $2.13 minimum wage for tipped workers. If passed, a federal minimum wage of $15 an hour would lift the pay of nearly 40 million workers.

EPI is fighting every day for progressive economic change and strengthen the rights and wages of U.S. workers. Make an end-of-year tax-deductible donation to EPI today to fight for a $15 minimum wage and to raise the wages of tens of millions of working people.

Thank you for all you do to fight for an economy that works for all of us, not just the wealthy few.
