We need to focus on moving forward, and Donald Trump's theatrics are only causing delays and distractions from the real issues at hand. Trump needs to put his pride and ego aside because this isn't about politics. It's about people.
Even multiple GOP Senators, including from our state, have spoken out against his behavior and have said that it's time for him to acknowledge his defeat.
How the president chooses to act and conduct himself trickles down to every level. At the municipal level, we urgently need a smooth, efficient transition of power so that the new administration can begin enacting their plans to provide immediate relief to our communities.
