Even despite the 2018 elections, Democrats are getting crushed in states: We’ve lost nearly 1,000 state legislative seats and 27 chambers over the past decade. We’re getting outspent at a 3-to-1 margin by Republicans in states. This devastation down-ballot has contributed in a huge way to Democratic losses up the ballot.

Ahead of the 2020 census, key states are in play in advance of redistricting -- our last chance to undo Republican gerrymandering before electoral maps are locked in for the next decade.
