Nancy Pelosi held bipartisan, targeted COVID relief measures hostage for political gain. She admitted it voluntarily and is proud of it. While countless small business owners watched as their livelihoods were destroyed under unscientific, unconstitutional lockdowns, Speaker Pelosi purposely blocked Congress from passing COVID relief as part of a political strategy.

It is shameless, heartless, and awful and I spoke on the House floor to call Speaker Pelosi out for it.

What's worse? Speaker Pelosi does all of this while people in her home state - and across the country - suffer under lockdowns imposed by Democrat officials. We've all seen the video of the restaurant owner in Los Angeles sharing her heartbreaking story as she tries to keep her business afloat under these lockdowns.

Study after study has shown that lockdowns have minimal - if any - benefits on overall COVID cases and deaths. Moreover, we know that outdoor dining is safe and there is no evidence to support shutting down outdoor dining.
