** Invitation to tender: Evaluation of our Making Links project

** The Final Declaration of The 3rd European Youth Work Convention – What You Need To Know
------------------------------------------------------------
The 3rd European Youth Work Convention has just ended. 1000 participants from over 50 countries, 85 workshops and more than 30 hours of input and discussion! It presents a very exciting opportunity for us to really put youth work on the map. The Department of Children Equality Disability, Integration and Youth asked NYCI to lead the Irish delegation at the Convention and then help drive the implementation of the Declaration at national level. ** Skills Summary Wins Prestigious EU Award!

The Skills Summary ([link removed]) project has been awarded the Job Bridge Award 2020! Skills Summary is an innovative way for young people to explore the skills they gain through non-formal education, including volunteering, and identify areas that need development. ** Covid-19: guidance for youth services

We continue to work with the officials in the Department to revise the guidance in response to any new restrictions and will continue to update the Guidance for Youth Organisations on Resuming Full Services ([link removed]) .

We will also update the official DCEDIY/NYCI Covid Induction for Youth Services ([link removed]) to reflect any changes.

Do you work in detached youth work? Youth Work Ireland wants to hear from you!

Youth Work Ireland is looking for youth workers working in this area to take part in short interviews to help them capture the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on young people in Europe, particularly on those who are socially excluded. ** Irish Girl Guides win Diversity in Tech award

** Irish Girl Guides host One World Week youth summit

Young members of IGG co-hosted the One World Week youth summit: Harnessing Young People's Power. They spoke about the positive impacts membership of the organisation has had on their lives, as well as of the many opportunities it has given them to grow and develop, to travel, and to learn new skills. ** Young Social Innovators has joined forces with Virgin Media to launch a new Digital Innovators youth award
------------------------------------------------------------
The Digital Innovators award ([link removed]) aims to recognise young people’s positive application of digital technology for the purposes of social good and to promote digital wellbeing. Entrants will need to demonstrate an innovative application of digital technology in response to a social issue they identify, or address issues related to digital safety and wellbeing.

Girls Brigade launches annual review
