You're going to see a lot of emails from candidates writing in all caps saying "THIS IS THE BIGGEST FUNDRAISING DEADLINE OF OUR CAMPAIGN."

But here's what all the urgency is about: Every three months, the FEC requires us to release our fundraising numbers to the public -- and EVERYONE could see us fall short on our fundraising.

All eyes are on our campaign this quarter to see how much money we raised over the summer -- and, with numbers being so public, a drop in fundraising in September is hard to ignore.

So, to get back on track we've set a real (and ambitious) goal, to show the world that Joe Biden has massive grassroots strength behind our campaign. But to make up for the ground we lost in the first half of September, we need to bring in 4,500 more donations this week alone.

To get there we'll rely on emails (like this!) and real people (like you!) to help us meet these goals, and we appreciate every time you open an email and pitch in. Can we count on you to chip in $ now?

These deadlines and goals aren't arbitrary. They're real numbers we have to hit to hire staff, grow our grassroots team, and spread the word about Joe's campaign for President.
