John,
Pfizer is already set to rake in billions from its expensive new Covid
vaccine, pricing out low-income countries, leaving them to battle the
virus alone.
It doesn’t have to be this way. Pharma giant Astra-Zeneca has already
promised to supply lower-income countries with its Covid vaccine at a huge
discount.
If Astra-Zeneca can, why can’t Pfizer?
Add your name, and tell Pfizer execs to treat this pandemic like the
humanitarian disaster it is -- not their personal piggy bank.

AstraZeneca’s commitment to selling its vaccine at cost is great news but
no company alone can make enough vaccines for everyone - that’s why we
need companies like Pfizer and Moderna to make Covid vaccines affordable
for low-income countries.
Experts say that while rich countries will have vaccinated most of their
population by next summer, low-income countries will only have protected a
tiny fraction of theirs by the end of 2021.
In this global moment of human anguish we need to come together to soothe
the suffering of millions -- not exploit the crisis as a business
opportunity.
Let’s put the spotlight on Pfizer Chief Exec, Albert Bourla and demand
Pfizer cuts its vaccine prices for the poorest countries. If we get
100,000 signatures, we will plaster his face over his hometown’s local
newspaper and shame him into action.
