Even before the pandemic, many potential entrepreneurs faced substantial barriers to entry -- like obtaining access to capital.

But for many minorities who are more likely to receive lower loan amounts, are twice as likely to be denied loans, and pay higher interest rates than their white peers -- these barriers can block much-needed innovations that could help lift up underserved communities, where there are proportionally fewer self-employed workers and small businesses.

So Jason is working to change that. Just last week, he introduced bipartisan legislation, The Next Generation Entrepreneur Corps Act, to develop bold solutions for the economic issues we're facing as a nation -- by incentivizing entrepreneurship, recovering our economy, and creating jobs for all communities.

Colorado's 6th district elected Jason to Congress because of his solutions-oriented mindset. Now, with our second election behind us, we need to make sure that he can continue that hard work and that we have the resources so he can do so.
