Friend,
As you know, Georgia's Senate runoff elections are critically
important. On Jan. 5, Georgia voters will decide which party controls
the U.S. Senate.
These runoff elections will determine how we respond to and recover
from the COVID-19 pandemic, a national systemic racism crisis and the
erosion of our democratic norms - that's why we need your
help.
We are doing all we can to ensure that January's voter turnout
is just as high as in the record-breaking November election or even
higher. But we need your support to reach as many voters as possible.
Next week, we are holding two virtual phone banking events to help
assist get-out-the-vote (GOTV) efforts in Georgia and the more
volunteers we have, the more potential voters we will be able to
reach!

*Note: The Virtual Phone Bank will be open from 3-8 p.m. Eastern in
order to accommodate all schedules. Volunteers are welcomed to
participate at their convenience for as long as their schedules allow
during this time frame.
Using your own phone (or any other internet-connected device), you can
help Georgia voters complete absentee applications that often provide
a faster and safer voting experience. Our Virtual Phone Bank will
provide you with a complete script, connect you directly to voters and
give you easy-to-follow instructions to record the results of your
conversation.
New: We are excited to announce that we're introducing a service
called VPB Connect for all upcoming Virtual Phone Banks. This new
feature lets callers click-to-dial from within any web browser on any
device: computer, tablet, smartphone, etc. With just one click,
you'll be connected to Georgia voters directly from your
browser. And instead of relying on volunteers' own phone
numbers, VPB Connect automatically uses an Atlanta area code and
specified caller ID.
Every single minute our supporters contribute to GOTV efforts is
greatly appreciated by our team and our partners working hard to turn
out the vote in Georgia. By contributing your time, you're
joining a national movement that helped produce the highest voter
turnout in our nation's history this November. We have the power
to finish this election season strong, and we hope you will join us to
make sure each and every Georgia voter's voice is heard.
In solidarity,
Your friends at the SPLC
