Cow Funeral: Watch and Share our Moving Video

While Erin Wing was undercover for Animal Outlook at this industrial factory farm, she witnessed a heartbreaking emotional scene: When a truck came to take away a deceased herd member, cows gathered together around her and seemed to mourn their lost friend.

Cows, studies have shown, can perform tasks, recognize humans' faces, and become stressed when they are separated from their friends or family. Yet the dairy industry relies on the breaking of bonds. At Dick Van Dam and other factory dairy farms, baby calves are ripped from their mothers' sides shortly after birth, considered byproducts of the industry that uses their milk for human consumption.

At Dick Van Dam, some of those newborn calves were simply left in the hot California sun to die. Share the moving video on Twitter to spread the truth. ([link removed][UNIQID])

PROGRESS: Starbucks to Offer Oat Milk in 2021

After a successful trial at select locations earlier this year, Starbucks has announced that it will offer oat milk at all locations nationwide starting in spring 2021.

Could this quick turnaround mean the current trials of vegan cream cheese and breakfast sandwiches at the chain’s Issaquah, WA location are next on the list to go nationwide? We sure hope so. Join us in applauding the coffee giant’s plant-based progress and encouraging it to offer a vegan food option nationwide with a quick comment on its social media.
