If Republicans win even one of the Georgia races, Mitch McConnell will continue to reign tyrannically over the Senate.
That means that any legislation to help working people that Bernie Sanders, AOC, or other progressive allies in Congress tries to move forward will be snuffed out — nothing will be done to ease the pain of income inequality, no sufficient COVID-19 relief, no student loan cancellation, no Green New Deal, no new bills to restore democracy and get big money out of politics.
That’s why Our Revolution is hiring local Georgia residents as full-time organizers. They will work to activate our already identified 50,000 Our Revolution Georgia supporters to fight racist voter suppression and make sure that every single Georgian knows how to get out and vote for both Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock. Can we count on you to pitch in whatever you can here to help us hire more organizers for the critical final weeks?

It takes about $20,000 to support an on-site organizer for this election. This is based on a projected salary of $15/hour plus benefits and about $3,000 for infrastructure and consumables.
