By now, you know that for Democrats, all eyes are on Georgia.

With both Senate seats up for grabs in January's runoff elections, Georgia's voters will determine control of the U.S. Senate -- either taking it back for the Democrats and giving the Biden-Harris administration a real shot at passing critical legislation or re-electing a pair of Trump loyalists who profited off the pandemic rather than warn the people of their state.

This year, Georgia flipped blue for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. We all have to do everything we can to keep it blue and help elect Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff to the Senate in January.

With Democrats in control of the Senate, our government will finally be able to pass much-needed COVID-19 relief aid, expand access to affordable health care, take legislative action to protect our environment, and advance other crucial Democratic priorities.

But if we lose Georgia's runoff races, well, we know what will happen. Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans proved during the Obama administration that their goal is simply to delay and obstruct anything and everything Democrats propose. Nothing will get done.

We have a chance to kick two hyper-partisan, self-interested politicians out of the U.S. Senate and deliver a Congress that will actually work with the incoming Biden-Harris administration. And we can do it. But only by each of us doing whatever we can to help.
