Small Business Support Series Presents
Perfecting the Pivot - Preparation & Practice
Helping to turn obstacles into opportunities, the Small Business Support Series is an ongoing program of the SBA's Washington Metropolitan Area District Office that highlights the many counseling and training services available to help you start, grow and succeed in today's highly challenging business environment.
Starting at 2:00pm (EST) on Wednesday, December 16, we focus on how to adjust your small business operations under changing conditions, as Alan Zucker, local business instructor and founder of Project Management Essentials, leads a one-hour discussion on pivoting best practices.
A proud resident of Arlington, Virginia and small business owner, Mr. Zucker has over 25 years of experience with leading Fortune 100 companies. Now a business consultant and coach, Alan shares his leadership and project management knowledge with businesses across the DMV and throughout the country. He is also an Adjunct Instructor at George Mason University and Northern Virginia Community College, and works with several national training organizations.
Navigating the effects of the ongoing pandemic represents a complex challenge for today's companies and organizations. Unpredictable interactions with unknown results can prevent us from taking necessary action. Problems like these require fresh ways of thinking and new tools to explore new possibilities. Strategic practices -- from agile product management to leveraging the innovation culture -- can be used to address these hurdles.
In this insightful webinar, Alan Zucker provides tangible, actionable steps to help you:
*Understand your level of adaptability and provide ideas to improve it;
*Conduct a situational analysis of your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats; and
*Employ an exploratory innovation model to help you pivot and position your small business for future success.
